About Us
Well first, the “us” as it relates to this website, is just me. I don’t have many pictures of just me, so here’s one of me and my husband.

Richard and Alice Norris
Another economic downturn, and I’m without a job, dependent on others for everything. It feels horrible. Luckily, I have been attempting to work from home for quite some time, so I have some fundamental building blocks for financial independence already in place.
I find myself in a learning situation as I create an income apart from the regular 9-5. I am determined to figure out the logic problem that is the online income possibility. In the past I purchased a few programs and tried some extra income situations, but nothing granted me financial independence.
I have found that the best way to learn is to break the larger concepts down into their components as one would do when teaching.
In college, I would help others understand chemistry and biology concepts, and in doing so would ensure that my test scores would make the grade as well. This gave me a wider view of the material, opening my mind up to connections I hadn’t made before. I expect the same to be true in learning financial independence.
I’m not saying that I have “made it”. I am saying that I am wanting to write down the steps I am currently taking to ensure that I will be able to sustain my home and hearth easily on my own and on my own terms.
I find it painful to go to a regular job, knowing that I could make more from home if I knew what I was doing. Right now I am pouring nearly every waking moment into my studies, and when I go back to work, little by little, in 2 hours/day I will learn, I will take action, and I will tell you what I have decided to do and why. We will celebrate my Financial Independence Day when I am able to leave the workforce for good!
Hopefully my blog will help you along your path to financial independence too. Then, we can celebrate your Financial Independence Day as well!
TAKE ACTION! I implore you to plan dedicated time for this task now! I’m not saying just do something now, I’m saying create a plan of action that will continue beyond today. Set aside any bit of time you can work into this instead of some T.V. or meaningless surfing of the internet. Create a structure for your success.
May Financial Success be yours,
Alice Norris
